Early Model and Late Model

The Ultra-Micro-Nikkor 28mm F1.8 was released in 1965.
And it was a product with a long sales period extending to the 1974 price list.
Therefore, there are many types.

The early model is slightly thinner at the tip of the lens barrel.
And that next model is this.
The lens barrel is like a cylinder. It is called the late model.

Even Now a Very Excellent and Useful Lens

This is a lens for semiconductor manufacturing equipment in the 1960's.
They have been over 50 years old.
However, I am surprised at the existence that I can still use as a tool even today, and the high level of its basic performance.
With the advent of high-performance digital cameras, Ultra Micro Nikkor lenses will expand practical use more and more.
