TV Program in Newspaper Ryu's Press Lecture Ryu Koakimoto, a professional photojournalist, introduced today's TV program to us. On January 17, 1995, a very big earthquake struck the city of Kobe, Japan, killing over 6,400 people. Fuji Television produced a two-hour docudrama special about that tragic day through the eyes of professional journalists. Based on a book by the staff members of a Kobe Shimbun (Kobe newspaper) and starring Sho Sakurai as a professional photographer.
7 Days in Kobe Shimbun Sho Sakurai and Nikon Sho Sakurai is a Japanese idol, singer, actor and newscaster. He is a member of Japanese men's band Arashi. Sho Sakurai acts as photographer, Tomohiko Mitsuyama, who had been with the Kobe Shinbun's photography department for 4 years at the time. Sakurai operated Nikon F4 professional model with wonderful skill.
