Glico Candy

Do you know Glico candy? Glico is a famous caramel which is since old times of Japan. A small toy is stored in all boxes of the Glico caramel candy. A little child who got Glico can enjoy a sweet caramel and a small toy. This small toy is called "Omake (small gift)" in Japan. It is called "Omake of Glico" and children love it about 100 years.

Up to now, the toy for little children such as small cars or rockets and pretty dolls had been stored in the box of the caramel. But recently, a very precise miniature model is stored in the box of the caramel. For example, a 1960's dinner table of Japan and an old sewing machine, a refrigerator watermelon stored, etc. became nice miniature. Of course, famous Honda F-1 car and a small Subaru car are offered in the precise miniature. The adult miniature collectors were very joyed and excited than the little child.

And, finally at summer 2002. You will find Nikon F being stored in the box of Glico. There is a model painted black and a silver model in Nikon F. This small little Nikon F is made with very precise mechanism. The eye level finder can be detached from the camera body! Of course, the miniature Nikkor lens can be mounted in the camera!!

However, there is only one weak point in it. It is a camera which cannot be actually taken picture. Because the minimum size film which can be loaded into this Glico Nikon F camera is not sold.

You can see the real MACRO Nikkor 35mm F4.5 lens mounted in the miniature Nikon F camera by the image below.
