I mounted the MACRO Nikkor 65mm F4.5 on my Nikon Z 6 and took the following pictures. The MACRO Nikkor 65mm F4.5 lens produce very nice images at the situation.

Mikan Orange Benchmark

Scales are engraved on the MACRO Nikkor 65mm F4.5 lens barrel. And then, numbers 1 to 6 are engraved on the scale. I shot the Mikan oranges at scale 1, scale 4, and scale 6.

Reversing the Lens

I reversed the MACRO Nikkor 65mm F4.5 lens to get focus to infinity. I used a Nikon adapter ring that converts a screw diameter of 40.5 mm to L39 screw mount.

I used Nikon's L-F connection ring and Nikon BR-3 adapter to attach the lens hood HN-3.

If you have an M42 helicoid your photography will be more comfortable. I used a very thin M42 mount adapter to convert the Nikon Z mount to an M42 screw mount. And I put my BORG M42 helicoid in there. You will be able to shoot from infinity to close up.

I photographed a medium range object with Nikon Z 6. I tried to focus the lens about 4 meters ahead.

Late in Autumn

I reversed the MACRO Nikkor 65mm F4.5 lens to take the pictures of late autumn.

I took all the photos at F4.5 (SCALE=1) with a wide-open aperture. I was able to get wonderful images even with a wide-open aperture. The following all photos were taken at F4.5 aperture full open.
