EL Nikkor 50mm F4N

As a reference for all worldwide Nikkor lens collectors, I will show you a complete set of the lens in perfect condition.

The lens cap just sits on top of the lens. Early caps did not have the Nikon logo. Later caps have the Nikon logo on them. There are two types of sponge cushions: round and square.

On the left is an early cap with no Nikon logo on it. In the center is a later cap with the Nikon logo on it. On the right is a Kikusui sake cap. The sake cap fits EL Nikkor.

How to enjoy the EL Nikkor 50mm F4N

EL Nikkor 50mm F4N

I attached a thin M42 to Nikon Z mount adapter to my Nikon Z camera. And I also attached the BORG M42 helicoid. In this condition, I mounted the EL Nikkor 50mm F4N lens. It is possible to take a picture at infinity.

The Nikon 40.5mm hood fits perfectly on the EL Nikkor 50mm F4N lens. Nikon 40.5mm hoods are available in three types: HN-N101, HN-N102, and HN-N103.
