The Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo is based in Tokyo, Japan, and has over 20 members. "Kenkyukai" means society in English. The Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo was established in March, 1981.

The Nikon Kenkyukai is the only specialist group in Japan where researches the Nippon Kogaku and Nikon optical equipment. The chairman is Mr. Ryu Koakimoto.
