Nikon Goto Laboratory

As you know, Nikon corporation established the imaging product R & D laboratory, Goto Laboratory in the summer of 2009.
Mr. Tetsuro Goto, Nikon fellow, general manager of imaging product R & D laboratory, imaging company of Nikon corporation is the boss.
The Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo held the meeting with the Goto laboratory for the first time in the world.

A Super Tokyo Session was held in the conference room of a Japanese style (Tatami mats room) near Ginza in Tokyo.

Nikon Space Camera

In the following session, Tetsuro Goto explained the space camera of Nikon.
The almost NASA's film photograph was taken by using Nikon and Hasselblad.
The film of about 70 percent was taken by Nikon camera.
All the digital photographies using SLR were taken by Nikon camera. As you know, Kodak digital SLR was manufactured by Nikon.

Akihiko Suzuki, Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo did presentation that welcomed Nikon Goto laboratry.
Akihiko Suzuki explained by the theme "Why the very early Nikon F shutter was made by cloth curtain?".
A new fact has been understood from the content that Mr. Masahiko Fuketa, Mr. Takateru Koakimoto and Mr. Shigetada Fukuoka spoke in 1996.

Taimeiken of Nihonbashi Tokyo is a restaurant of establishment in 1931.
Taimeiken restaurant is famous in old Japanese style European cuisines.
Tetsuro Goto gave us Nikon wine. Yes, Nikon wine.
Very nice Nikon wine was served at table by a sommelier in the Taimeiken.

A Demonstration of Nikon COOLPIX S1000pj

Hirobumi Suzuki, Goto laboratory demonstrated new digital camera COOLPIX S1000pj to us. It has world's first ultra-compact built-in projector.
COOLPIX S1000pj is a very cool camera recently.

Very Old Cheer Song of Nippon Kogaku

Very old cheer song of Nippon Kogaku are collected to this CD. This CD was produced by the Fujiya Camera shop, Nakano Tokyo. The employee of Fujiya Camera shop sang the old Nippon Kogaku cheer song and it was recorded.
Tetsuro Goto lectured on "Nikon 50 years history" in the lecture meeting of the Fujiya Camera shop sponsoring in November, 2009. This CD was produced for the souvenir of the Goto's lecture meeting.
And then, the CD was presented to the participant of today's Tokyo session by the offer of Fujiya Camera shop. Thank you Fujiya Camera.
