COM Nikkor 37mm F1.4 with NIKKOREX Lens Ryu's Press Lecture Ryu Koakimoto, a professional photojournalist, reported about ship magazine and very historical photographs. The SHIP OF THE WORLD is a famous magazine in Japan of the vessel specialty. Ryu Koakimoto's photograph is published in the March edition and the April edition of the SHIP OF THE WORLD magazine in 2010. Koakimoto reported the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force in 1961. His purpose was taking a picture of the formation of the Lockheed P2V-7 Neptune, maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare. He also boarded the Lockheed P2V-7 Neptune! You can see his beautiful photograph in March edition of the SHIP OF THE WORLD magazine in 2010. And then, you can see this beautiful photograph about the KUROSHIO submarine of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force in 1961. SHIP OF THE WORLD, April 2010 In the explanation of the following photograph, Ryu Koakimoto's turboprop jet engine rotated at maximum speed!! Ryu-san showed us the photograph of the Rei-Sen (Zero-Sen, Mitsubishi A6M Zero) of which Sub-Lieutenant Saburo Sakai had taken a picture.

Ryu Koakimoto explained a Mitsubishi Zero story to the members Rei-Sen (Mitsubishi Zero) Photo taken by Sub-Lieutenant Saburo Sakai Sub-Lieutenant Saburo Sakai (1916 - 2000) was a Japanese naval aviator and flying ace of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. Sakai flew the legendary Rei-Sen (the Zero-Sen, Mitsubishi A6M Zero) fighter aircraft. Ryu Koakimoto printed the photograph with original negative film of which Sakai had taken a picture by his Leica camera.
