The Ohi Plant, Nikon Corporation

The Nikon Kenkyukai visited Ohi plant which is the head temple called holy place of Nikon.
Nikon Ohi plant is located in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
The modern building in a Nikon Ohi plant is the Ohi West Building.
We gathered to the lobby of the first floor.

The purpose of visit is to join in the study meeting about the Nikkor lenses before World War II.
This year, 2011 is the 30th anniversary of the Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo.
Also, we visited the Nikon Ohi plant to say the greeting of the 30th anniversary.

Mr. Tetsuro Goto, a Nikon Fellow, director of laboratory research and development at Nikon Japan, welcomed us very warmly. Thank you, Mr. Goto.

The 30th Anniversary of the Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo

The study meeting began from the presentation session.
First, Nobuji Hatsushiba gave a lecture about "Grand Story of the 30 Years History of Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo".
Hatsu told the history for 30 years by many photographs and literature data. Thank you, Hatsu.

Yes. Mr. Haruo Sato and Mr. Kouichi Ohshita are the authors of "The Thousand and One Nights of Nikkor lenses" as you know.
